MICROSOFT EXCEL TIP: How To Quickly Sum A Range Of Cells In Excel

This is very useful tip to quickly sum a range of cells in Excel (in just seconds) using two keyboard keys: Alt and =.

If you have a table like the one below, and you want to sum all the numbers very quickly:

Step 1: Simply select the entire table plus the blank cells where you want to place your total values:

Step 2: Press Alt =

sum data inn Microsoft Excel

Notice that Excel automatically sum the values in each row and column with the SUM formula.
